Shërimi i të paralizuarit
(Mk 2.1-12Lk 5.17-26)1 Si hipi në varkë, Jezui kaloi në bregun tjetër dhe erdhi në qytetin e vet. 2 Atëherë i sollën një të paralizuar, të shtrirë në një vig. Kur pa besimin e tyre, Jezui i tha të paralizuarit: «Merr zemër, biri im, të janë falur mëkatet». 3 Disa nga shkruesit thanë me vete: «Ky po fyen Perëndinë». 4 Meqenëse Jezui i njihte mendimet e tyre, u tha: «Pse keni këto mendime të këqija në zemrat tuaja? 5 Çfarë është më e lehtë, të thuash “të janë falur mëkatet” apo të thuash “ngrihu dhe ec”? 6 Mirëpo, që ta dini se Biri i njeriut ka pushtetin të falë mëkatet mbi tokë, “i tha të paralizuarit”, ngrihu, merre vigun e shko në shtëpi!». 7 Ai u ngrit e shkoi në shtëpi. 8 Kur panë këtë gjë, turmat i zuri frika dhe përlëvduan Perëndinë që u kishte dhënë njerëzve një pushtet kaq të madh.
Thirrja e Mateut
(Mk 2.13-17Lk 5.27-32)9 Si u largua prej andej, Jezui pa një njeri që rrinte ulur në bankën e tagrave. Ai quhej Mate. Jezui i tha: «Më ndiq!». Ai u ngrit e i shkoi pas. 10 Ndërsa ishin ulur për të ngrënë në shtëpinë e Mateut, erdhën shumë tagrambledhës e mëkatarë, që u ulën në tryezë me Jezuin dhe me dishepujt e tij. 11 Kur panë këtë gjë, farisenjtë u thanë dishepujve: «Përse mësuesi juaj ha me tagrambledhës e me mëkatarë?». 12 Por kur e dëgjoi këtë, Jezui tha: «Nuk janë të shëndoshët ata që kanë nevojë për mjekun, por të sëmurët. 13 Shkoni e mësoni çfarë do të thotë: dua mëshirë e jo flijime. Unë nuk kam ardhur të thërras të drejtët, por mëkatarët».
Agjërimi
(Mk 2.18-22Lk 5.33-39)14 Atëherë iu afruan dishepujt e Gjonit e i thanë: «Përse ne dhe farisenjtë agjërojmë shumë, ndërsa dishepujt e tu nuk agjërojnë?». 15 Jezui u tha: «A mund të mbajnë zi dasmorët kur dhëndri është me ta? Por do të vijë dita kur do t'ua rrëmbejnë dhëndrin e atëherë do të agjërojnë. 16 Askush nuk vë një arnë prej një cope të re në një rrobë të vjetër, sepse arna e gris rrobën e grisja bëhet më e madhe. 17 Askush nuk hedh verë të re në kacekë të vjetër, se kacekët çahen, vera derdhet e kështu humbasin edhe kacekët. Prandaj, vera e re hidhet në kacekë të rinj e kështu ruhen që të dyja».
Prekja shëruese
(Mk 5.21-43Lk 8.40-56)18 Ndërsa Jezui po fliste me ta, iu afrua një kryetar sinagoge, që i ra në gjunjë e i tha: «Sapo më vdiq vajza, por eja vëri duart mbi të dhe ajo do të jetojë». 19 Jezui u ngrit e shkoi pas tij bashkë me dishepujt. 20 Dhe ja, një grua që vuante nga hemorragjia prej dymbëdhjetë vjetësh iu afrua nga pas dhe i preku cepin e gunës. 21 Sepse thoshte me vete: «Sikur t'i prek vetëm gunën, do të shpëtoj». 22 Jezui u kthye, e pa e i tha: «Merr zemër, bija ime, besimi yt të shpëtoi». Dhe që nga ai çast ajo grua u shërua. 23 Kur arriti te shtëpia e kryetarit të sinagogës dhe pa fyelltarët e turmën e zhurmshme, 24 Jezui tha: «Largohuni se vajza nuk ka vdekur, por po fle». Por ata e përqeshën. 25 Kur e nxorën turmën përjashta, ai hyri, e mori vajzën për dore dhe ajo u ngrit. 26 Lajmi për këtë mrekulli u përhap në mbarë krahinën.
Shërimi i dy të verbërve
27 Kur Jezui u largua që andej, i shkuan pas dy të verbër që thërrisnin: «Ki mëshirë për ne, Biri i Davidit!». 28 Si arritën në shtëpi, të verbrit iu afruan dhe Jezui u tha: «A besoni se mund ta bëj këtë gjë?». Ata i thanë: «Po, o Zot!». 29 Atëherë ai u preku sytë e u tha: «U bëftë sipas besimit tuaj!». 30 Dhe atyre iu hapën sytë. Jezui i urdhëroi: «Kini kujdes se mos e merr vesh njeri». 31 Por ata, sapo dolën, e përhapën lajmin në mbarë krahinën.
Shërimi i një shurdhmemeci
32 Ndërsa po dilnin, i sollën një shurdhmemec që ishte i pushtuar nga djalli. 33 Kur u dëbua djalli, shurdhmemeci foli dhe turmat u mrekulluan e thanë: «Nuk është parë asnjëherë një gjë e tillë në Izrael». 34 Por farisenjtë thanë: «Ai i dëbon djajtë me fuqinë e kryetarit të djajve».
Dhembshuria e Jezuit
35 Jezui i përshkoi të gjitha qytetet dhe fshatrat duke mësuar njerëzit në sinagogat e tyre, duke predikuar ungjillin e mbretërisë e duke shëruar çdo sëmundje e lëngatë. 36 Kur pa turmat, iu dhimbsën, sepse ishin të lodhura e të braktisura, si delet pa bari. 37 Atëherë u tha dishepujve: «Të korrat janë të mëdha, por punëtorë ka pak. 38 Lutjuni të zotit të të korrave të dërgojë punëtorë në të korrat e veta».
1 And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. 2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. 3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. 4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? 5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? 6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. 7 And he arose, and departed to his house. 8 But when the multitudes saw it , they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
9 ¶ And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
10 ¶ And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it , they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12 But when Jesus heard that , he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
14 ¶ Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? 15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. 16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. 17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
18 ¶ While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. 19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
20 ¶ And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him , and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. 23 And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, 24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. 25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. 26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
27 ¶ And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it . 31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
32 ¶ As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil. 33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. 34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils. 35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36 ¶ But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
