1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? 4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? 8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. 14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
1 Kuxon ndonjë prej jush, kur ka ndonjë gjë sent kundrë tiatrit, të gjykonetë përpara të shtrëmbëtëvet, e jo përpara shënjtorëvet?
2 Nukë dini se shënjtorëtë do të gjykonjënë botënë? Edhe ndë u gjykoftë bota prej jush, s’jni të vëlyerë të gjykoni punëra më të vogëla?
3 Nuk’ e dini, se do të gjykojm’ engjëj? Sa më tepërë punërat e kësaj jete?
4 Ndë kini pra për të gjykuarë punërat’ e kësaj jete, vini të rrinë për gjyqtarë ata që nukë zihenë për gjë ndë qishët.
5 Po u them juve këtë që të keni turp. Kështu nukë qënëka ndërmest tuaj asndonjë i diturë, që të hynjë e të gjykonjë ndërmest vëllajt ti?
6 Po vëllaj gjykonetë me vëllanë, edhe këtë punë e bën përpara të pabesëvet?
7 Ndashti pra është fare faj ndërmest tuaj, sepse ju keni gjyqe njëri me tiatrinë. Përse më tepërë nukë lini t’u bënetë paudhë juve? Përse më tepërë nukë lini t’u bënetë dëm juve?
8 Po ju u bëni paudhë e u bëni dëm atyreve, edhe këto ua bëni vëllezëret.
9 Apo nuk’ e dini se të shtrëmbëtitë nukë do të trashëgonjënë mbëretërin’ e Perëndisë? Mos gënjehi; as kurvarë, as idhullatrë, as ndyrësa, as të sqaqurë, as ata që venë prapa meshkujsh,
10 As vjedhës, as lakëmimtarë, as pianecë, as përqeshësa, as rrëmbesësa, nukë do të trashëgonjënë mbëretërin’ e Perëndisë.
11 Edhe të tillë ishitë ca vetë po u latë, po u shënjtëruatë, po dualltë të drejtë, me anë të emërit të Jisu Krishtit, edhe me anë të Frymës Perëndisë tënë.
12 Të gjitha janë ndë pushtett tim, po të gjitha nukë më bënjënë; të gjitha janë ndë pushtet tim, po unë s’do të pushtonem as prej ndonjë gjëje.
13 Gjellëtë janë për barkunë, edhe barku për gjellëtë; po Perëndia do t’i prishnjë edhe këtë edhe këto. E trupi nuk’ është për kurvërinë, po për Zotinë, edhe Zoti për trupinë;
14 Edhe Perëndia sikundrë ngjalli Zotinë, do të na ngjallnjë edhe neve me anë të fuqisë ti.
15 Nuk’ e dini, se trupëratë tuaj janë anët e trupit Krishtit? Të marr unë pra anët’ e trupit Krishtit, e t’i bënj anë trupi kurve? Qoftë lark!
16 Apo nuk’ e dini se ay që ngjitetë me kurvënë, është një trup? Sepse: “do të jenë”, thotë, “të dy ndë një mish”.
17 Po ay që ngjitetë me Zotinë, është një frymë me atë .
18 Ikni nga kurvëria. Çdo faj që bën njeriu, është jashtë trupit; po ay që kurvëron fëjen mbë trup të ti.
19 Apo nuk’ e dini se trupi juaj është tempull i Frymës Shënjtëruarë që rri ndër ju, të cilën’ e kemi prej Perëndisë, edhe nukë jeni të zotërit’ e vetëhesë tuaj?
20 Sepse u bletë me çëmim; lavdoni pra Perëndinë me trupinë tuaj, edhe me shpirtinë tuaj, që janë të Perëndisë.
