1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. 2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. 3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words. 4 Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob. 5 And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.
6 ¶ Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.
7 ¶ And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.
8 ¶ And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah; 9 Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant. 10 They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar. 11 Bless, LORD, his substance, and accept the work of his hands: smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.
12 ¶ And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
13 ¶ And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath, 14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, 15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, 16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. 17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
18 ¶ And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents. 19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
20 ¶ And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head. 21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.
22 ¶ And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion’s whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.
23 ¶ And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.
24 ¶ And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. 25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be .
26 ¶ There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them . 28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew. 29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
1 Edhe ky ësht’ ay bekimi që bekoi Moisiu, njeriu i Perëndisë, të bijt’ e Israilit përpara vdekëjesë tij,
2 edhe tha: Zoti erdhi nga Sinai, edhe u duk ndër ata nga Seiri. Ndriti nga mali i Paranit, edhe erdhi bashkë me dhietë milë shënjtorë. Nga e diathta e atij dolli zjarr nomi për ata.
3 Po, deshi gjëndëjenë. Ndënë dorët tënde janë gjithë shënjtorët’ e atij, edhe rrininë ndër këmbët tua, që të mirrinë fjalët’ e tua.
4 Moisiu na urdhëroi për nom trashëgimin’ e përmbëledhëjesë Jakovit.
5 Edhe ishte mbëret ndë Jeshurun, kur u mbëlothnë të parët’ e gjëndëjesë bashkë me farat e Israilit.
6 Rroftë Reubeni, e mos vdektë, edhe qoft’ e shumë gjëndëja e atij.
7 Edhe ky është (bekimi) i Judhësë, edhe tha: Dëgjo, o Zot, zën’ e Judhësë, edhe bier-e ndë gjëndëjet t’atij; duart’ e atij qofshinë mjaft për atë, edhe ndih-i kundrë arëmiqet atij.
8 Edhe për Levinë tha: Thummimet’ e tua edhe Urimet’ e tua qofshinë bashkë me njerinë tënt të shënjtëruarinë, të cilit i sgjodhe zemrënë ndë Masah, (edhe me) atë u hëngre me fjalë ndër ujërat të Meribahësë,
9 i cili i tha t’et e s’ëmësë: Nuk’ e pashë, edhe i cili mohoi të vëllezëritë, as nukë njohu të bijtë, sepse ruajtnë fjalënë tënde, edhe mbajtnë dhiatënë tënde.
10 Do t’i mësonjënë Jakovit gjyqet’ e tu, edhe nominë tënt Israilit; do të vënë thimiamë përpara teje, edhe kurbane të diegura-gjithë mbi theroret tënde.
11 Beko, o Zot, tufat’ e ushtëris’ atij, edhe prit punët’ e duaret atij, thyej mezin’ e atyre që ngrenë krye kundrë atij, edhe atyre që mërzitnjën’ atë, kaqë sa të mos ngrihenë më.
12 Për Veniamininë tha: I dashuri i Zotit do të rrijë me siguri afër’ atij, (Zoti) do ta mbulonjë gjithë dit, edhe do të prëhetë ndë mest ndë krahavet tij.
13 Edhe për Josifnë tha: Qoftë bekuarë prej Zotit dheu i atij, nga dhuratat’ e qiellit të paçëmuaratë, nga vesa, e nga thellësira që gjëndetë poshtë,
14 edhe nga pemët’ e diellit të paçëmuaratë, e nga dhuratat’ e hënësë të paçëmuaratë,
15 e nga të mirat’ e sgjedhura të bieshkavet vietëra, e nga të mirat’ e paçëmuara të malevet përjetëshim,
16 e nga të mirat’ e paçëmuara të dheut, e nga të mbushurit’ e atij; edhe pëlqimi i atij që u duk ndë ferrët arthtë mbi kryet të Josifit, edhe mbi majët të sgjedhurit vëllezëret tij.
17 Lavdia e atij (qoftë posi) e demit atij që ka lindurë përpara, edhe brinjt’ e atij posi brinjt’ e vetëm-bririt; me ata do t’u bierë me brinj kombavet gjer mb’ anët të dheut; edhe ato (janë) të dhietë milët’ e Efraimit, edhe ato janë të një milët’ e Manasehut.
18 Edhe për Zebulluninë tha: Gëzohu, o Zebullun, ndë të dalët tënt; edhe (ti), o Isahar, ndër tëndat tua.
19 Do të thërrasënë gjëndëjetë ndë malt, atie do të bënjënë kurbane dëreitërie, sepse do të thithënë të plotën’ e detit, edhe thesarët’ e fshehurë të rërësë.
20 Edhe për Gadhinë tha: (Qoftë) bekuar’ ay që sgjeron Gadhë, rri posi leon, edhe çqyenë krah e krye.
21 Edhe proi për vetëhen’ e tij piesën’ e parë, sepse atie ish ruajturë piesa e nom-vënësit; edhe erdhi me të parët’ e gjëndëjesë, lau dëreitërin’ e Zotit edhe gjyqet’ e atij bashkë me Israilinë.
22 Edhe për Daninë tha: Dani (është) këlysh leoni: do të këcenjë nga Bashana.
23 Edhe për Naftalinë tha: O Naftaliu i nginjurë me pëlqim, e i mbushurë me bekimin’ e Zotit, trashëgo anën’ e të perënduarit e të mes-ditësë.
24 Edhe për Asherinë tha: Qoftë bekuarë nga djemtë Asheri, qoft’ i priturë ndër vëllezërit, edhe le të ngjyenjë këmbën’ e tij ndë val.
25 Këpucët’ e tua (qofshinë) hekur’ e rame, edhe fuqia jote posi dit e tua.
26 Asndonjë nuk’ (është) si Perëndia i Jeshurunit, i cili sbret mbi qiejet për ndihmënë tënde, edhe me gjithë madhërin’ e atij mbi qëndresët.
27 Perëndia i përjetëshim është mbulesë, edhe krahat’ e përjetëshim (janë) mpshtetëje. Edhe do të përzërë arëmikunë përpara teje, edhe do të thotë: Prish-e.
28 Atëherë Israili do të rrijë vetëmë ndë siguri, syri i Jakovit (do të jetë) mbë dhe gruri e vere, edhe qiejet’ e atij do të pikonjënë vesë.
29 Lumthi ti, o Israil. Kush është si ti, o gjëndëje e shpëtuarë nga Zoti, i cili është mburonja e ndihmësë s’ate, edhe kordha e madhërisë s’ate! Edhe arëmiqt’ e tu do t’unjënë kryetë ndënë ty, edhe ti do të shkelsh mbi qafët t’atyre.
